Scholarship & Financial Aid

The Office of Admission awards academic scholarships to our highest achieving admitted students.  Fewer than half of all students admitted to TCU are offered academic scholarships. These competitive awards are based primarily on grades, ACT or SAT score, rank in class (if available), and curriculum rigor.  For purposes of both admission and scholarship consideration, TCU superscores both the ACT and the SAT.  Scholarship notification is mailed approximately three weeks after the offer of admission is sent.

The following chart provides the average GPA, test score, and class rank of students offered academic scholarships. Meeting these marks does not guarantee an academic scholarship.

Overall GPA* ACT Score SAT Score Rank in Class**
Deans Scholarship 3.84 31.9 2099 Top 4.7%
Faculty Scholarship 3.68 30.1 1972 10.4%
