Assistant Director of Admission
Hometown: Guanajuato, Mexico
Alma Mater: TCU, for both bachelor’s and master’s degrees
Year I Joined the Office of Admission: 2011
Areas I Recruit: Within the state of Texas: the Coastal Bend, the Valley and El Paso. Out of state: Arizona, New Mexico, and Puerto Rico, as well as Latin America (except for Panama) and the Caribbean
I Also Help With: Campus Programming
I Think TCU Is a Great University Because: TCU truly embodies its mission statement. I have been able to see this first hand as a student and now as an admission counselor. It challenges you academically, and in your personal and professional life. A place where you can become the person you were meant to be.
Hobbies and Interests: Fellowship with others, music, movies, working out.
Favorite Class in College: Interpersonal Communications with Dr. Schrodt.
If You Visited Me in My Office You’d See: Plenty of purple, and owls.
My Advice to You: Do your research. Not every school is perfect for everyone. Visiting the campus and talking to students will give you a feel for the campus and if it’s a good fit for you. Develop a good relationship with your counselor and ask a lot of questions.
