students on the library steps
TCU launched a 360 virtual tour showcasing our spirited campus. The Mary Couts Burnett Library offers much more than a quiet place to study and check out books, as you'll see in some of the highlights.

The library is open 24 hours most days and offers 24/7 access to online databases, research guides and more than 1.5 million e-books. Students can reserve more than books, including laptops, group study rooms and more.

While the west side of the library serves as a quiet study space, the east side is louder and livelier, with food options to grab study fuel, the Knowledge is Power steps which have the phrase quite literally written in (lime)stone in 12 different languages to celebrate our international student enrollment. The library even brings in therapy dogs to make study breaks better during finals.

The library's Special Collections houses unique and rare materials that support student, faculty and community research. The online archives and exhibits on display inside the library capture meaningful historical events on campus and around the world.
