Course Overview

This interdisciplinary program engages African American and Africana intellectual heritages, life and culture. The academic program focuses on interdisciplinary scholarly engagement with fields including medicine, critical race theory, ethics, politics, religion, gender, history, geography, language and literature.

AAAS promotes research across the university and provides students with academic and career path advising, research training, leadership skills development, peer mentoring and global community engagement learning opportunities including study abroad.
