Asian Studies

Course Overview

This minor provides a broad background in Asian culture, history, language, and politics, which will allow students to explore Asia from a variety of disciplinary perspectives in order to prepare for graduate study or a professional career. Students have the freedom to design their own course of study, choosing among courses in Anthropology, Business, Chinese, Economics, English, History, Japanese, Political Science, and Religion.

Each course is designed to help students develop their critical thinking skills, refine their written and oral communication skills, and bring a greater sense of cultural awareness to make them better global citizens.
