Pre-Major (Undecided)

Course Overview

You’re not an oddball if you don’t know what to major in yet. One in five of our incoming students don’t know. And those who do declare a major early on often change their minds later. Some change their majors several times.

You don’t have to declare a major until the end of your sophomore year. So choosing Undecided (Pre-Major) is a good place to start. It gives you plenty of time to investigate different areas of interest, or maybe stumble across something that you don’t even know you like yet.

Course Examples by Year

As an Undecided (Pre-Major) student, you'll have the opportunity to take a Self-Assessment & Career Exploration class that will help clarify your goals. You'll also explore new areas of study within the academic Core Curriculum while meeting basic degree requirements.
