Sports Broadcasting

Course Overview

All aspects of sports production, including producing, directing, writing, editing, and announcing. You will receive hands-on training pertaining to television, radio, and online communications in order to become an effective member of the sports broadcasting community.

  • Spend time learning in both the classroom and a studio setting.
  • Develop new skills in a professional environment by producing and directing live coverage of TCU sporting events (including baseball, basketball, soccer, and volleyball) that are broadcast on FOX Sports Southwest.
  • Majors have invaluable opportunities to intern in the nation’s fifth largest media market, which is home to professional teams in baseball, basketball, football, hockey, and soccer. The area also hosts annual PGA, NASCAR, and IRL events.
