I Think TCU Is a Great University Because: TCU is a small to medium sized liberal arts college with large university resources. There are a number of experiences offered both in and outside of the classroom that ensures our undergraduate students feel connected to campus and fulfill TCU’s mission statement.
Hobbies and Interests: I love to watch, play, and coach basketball. Additionally, I enjoy spending time with family/friends, watching movies, and traveling as well. And I am a huge Marvel and DC fan as well.
Favorite Class in College: Diversity & Cultural Pluralism (taught by Dr. Alvin Larke); Foundations of Leadership (taught by Dr. Bill Stackman); Youth Development & Advocacy (taught by Dr. Corliss Outley)
If You Visited Me in My Office You’d See: You will probably find pictures of my friends, family, former students, and most importantly my parents. Additionally, I tend to hold onto notes of praise as well. These items keep me both centered and grounded within my purpose.
My Advice to You: I would equate navigating the admission process to operating a Global Positioning System (GPS). As you enter your final destination (dream college) then you may be offered a number of routes to your final destination. Carefully consider each option and the potential challenge(s) associated with each given pathway. Then choose a path and commit to the journey itself. You are able and resilient. Remember, it is not about where you start but instead how you finish.
