What are TCU’s admission requirements?

Because TCU is a selective university, we are able to consider all credentials, both academic and extracurricular, as well as teacher and counselor evaluations, when reviewing an application for admission.

TCU has no minimum requirement for GPA or test score to be considered for admission. TCU is test-optional for applicants through 2028. (See our Testing Policy.) For the class that entered TCU in Fall 2026, the middle 50 percent scored between 1310 and 1460 on the SAT, or between 29 and 33 on the ACT.
