1. Submit an Application:

The application requires a 300 word essay and a $50 application fee (waived for Veterans, First Generation College Students, and Phi Theta Kappa members). You may apply online. If you applied within the previous year, you can quickly reactivate your application.
As soon as possible between August 1, 2018 and August 1, 2019. It is recommended that you apply by the April 15, 2019 early fall deadline.

2. Submit Required Documents

These include your essay, official college transcript separately from every college you have attended, and high school transcript and SAT/ACT scores (if you have less than 24 hours of transferable college credit). For more details, click here.

3. File Your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and CSS PROFILE

Find the applications online : CSS Profile | FAFSA

For all financial aid including federal and state aid, and TCU private need-based financial aid.
FAFSA and CSS Profile for fall 2019 will be available October 1 for submission. Send both to TCU ASAP.Office of Financial Aid

4. Receive an Admission Decision

Your admissions decision will arrive by email and/or mail to the address you provided on your application.
Transfer admission is rolling, and admission decisions are normally sent 4 weeks after you have submitted your application and ALL required documents.

5. Receive your TCU Transfer Credit Articulation Report

If accepted, you'll receive a link to this report in the admission email and paper copy in the admission package. This report will show you how your credits transfer to TCU for elective and core requirements. Bring the paper copy of the transfer credit report with you to your advising appointment or to orientation, if you plan to be advised for classes at orientation.

6. Create a profile on the my.tcu.edu portal

Create your my.tcu.edu user name and password, using the TCU ID emailed to you after your admission decision was sent by the Office of Admission.

7. Receive your Transfer Academic Scholarship Award Letter

Awarded to transfer students who are qualified with a minimum of 3.25 GPA and 27 transferable hours. Dual credit college courses are included in the hours and GPA used for transfer scholarships. Military veterans with 100% tuition covered under the Post 9-11 GI Bill, will not be awarded a transfer academic scholarship.

8. Submit your final transcript to the Office Of Admission

Recent grades must be received before enrollment at TCU.

9. Submit Statement of Good Disciplinary Standing to TCU Office of Admission

This form is linked into your email acceptance, printed in your admit package, and found on our website.

10. Contact the academic department staff to make your appointment

Bring your TCU Transfer Credit Articulation Report to this appointment. Academic advising is required for transfer students, and advisors must remove the hold on your account after the appointment.
Advising can be completed any time after admission, but must be completed BEFORE class enrollment , beginning June 5, 2019 at 9 am CDT.Administrative Assistants to schedule the appointment. Academic Department Directory

11. Receive a Financial Aid Package on my.tcu.edu.

Financial aid packages are sent only to students who have been admitted and filed their FAFSA and CSS Profile with TCU.
3-4 weeks after receiving your acceptance letter or after you receive your Transfer Academic Scholarship, if you qualify.Office of Financial Aid

12. Pay your $900 Enrollment Non-refundable Deposit on my.tcu.edu

Your $900 deposit is not refundable—it confirms that you plan to enroll at TCU. This is a credit toward your tuition. To pay your deposit, go to my.tcu.edu. If you are a qualifying veteran under the Post 9-11 GI Bill, you may submit this form to request to waive your $900 deposit into your veteran benefits.

13. Apply for Housing

If you are interested in on-campus housing, please indicate on my.tcu.edu at the time you submit your enrollment deposit. After your meningitis form is received by the health center, you will receive “the housing application” from Housing and Residence Life in your TCU email account at mail.tcu.edu, which uses the same username and password as my.tcu.edu.

14. Register for Orientation– on my.tcu.edu.

Orientation is recommended for all new transfer students. During Orientation, you will meet other students transferring to TCU, learn about the core and TCU student resources, meet with an advisor, enroll in classes, get your TCU photo ID card and much more.
After your enrollment deposit has been posted, beginning mid-March 2018 you will be able to register for Orientation on my.tcu.edu. Orientation registration closes 3 days prior to each Transfer Orientation Session. Transfer Orientation dates have not been set yet for 2019.

15. Register for Frog Camp Summit on my.tcu.edu

Frog Camp is a retreat for incoming transfer students in the summer before the fall semester beings. There are transfer small groups incorporated. You will meet new friends, learn about TCU traditions, and connect with faculty and staff partners. Optional but highly recommended.
After your enrollment deposit has been posted, you will be able to register for Frog Camp on my.tcu.edu beginning mid-March 2019. Frog Camp registration is open as space allows. Free of Charge. Cancellation fee may apply.Student Development Services

16. Submit Meningitis Vaccine Records to the TCU Health Center

If 22 years of age or younger, healthcenter.tcu.edu/forms click Meningitis Requirement.
As soon as are certain you are going to attend TCU. Must be completed before you enroll in classes, before you attend Orientation, and before you are able to submit the housing application.Health Center

17. Enroll in classes
Located online at my.tcu.edu portal in the “Student Center” section
Beginning June 5, 2019, 9 am CDT After all required enrollment holds have been removed including:
* Enrollment Deposit
* Academic Advising
* Good Discipline Standing Form
* Final Transcript for Spring 2019 semester (if applicable)
* Meningitis shot vaccine (if under 22)

Class enrollment for transfer students is open until the first day of the fall semester: August 26, 2019. Class Enrollment is also available at Transfer Orientation.
