Deferred Decision - Transfer

Frequently Asked Questions

Being deferred puts you in a state of limbo. You may have waited several months to learn of an admission decision and now we have asked you to wait a bit longer. Your admission decision has been deferred until we receive an updated transcript with your new semester of grades. You will be notified of your decision within a month of us receiving your official transcript.

You can submit optional letters of recommendation or a resume to transferfrog@tcu.edu. However, we won’t be able to provide a decision until your final transcript is received.

There’s not a set number of students that will be admitted. If you are successful in your final semester, and meet the admission requirements, we will admit you.

We always welcome students to visit campus, but do not formally interview students.
