To be honest, I did not know much about TCU at all before applying. I decided to apply last minute because I liked the size of the school. A few months later I received my acceptance letter and decided to visit. When I finally came down to Texas for the first time to visit TCU, I loved the school and everything it had to offer.
TCU Traditions: Christmas Tree Lighting
Each year the TCU tree lighting brings me more and more joy. Not only do you get to see one of the most beautiful displays of Christmas spirit (I’m talking Rockefeller beautiful), but you also get to experience the joy the season brings the community and participate in fun activities with friends.

A procrastinator at heart, I put off everything related to college until my mom forced me on a college road trip through Texas. Although I had told my mom a road trip would not help me decide what schools I wanted to attend, I quickly realized how wrong I was when we made one of our first stops at TCU. Possibly the most influential part of what TCU had to offer was the opportunity to have more.
