Students walking into the Intercultural Center

Our Horned Frog family isn't just located here in Fort Worth. With over 100,000 living alumni worldwide, TCU continues to send out leaders into the global community to make a difference. This week, we celebrate International Education Week and our International Frogs who took the leap outside their comfort zone to come to TCU!

We asked some of our international students why they chose TCU and the value it has brought to their lives. Here's what they had to say:

"TCU has an exceptional culture of student involvement and leadership. From Student Government and premier business leadership programs, to executive roles in cultural organizations, there truly is something for everyone."- Ishaan Bhagwat, Mumbai, India

"What I love about TCU is the multitude of resources, opportunities and support systems that create an environment where students from all backgrounds can explore their potential, grow, and feel genuinely supported every step of the way."- Mame Diarra Niang, Dakar, Sénégal

"I've had the privilege of being apart of a supportive environment within a vibrant Latino community, where I've made friends from all over and received invaluable academic support from my advisors and professors, who have been there for me throughout my journey as a student up to this day."- Juan Carlos Hincapié, Panama City, Panama

There are many resources available to our international students, but one of the most popular is the Intercultural Center. Located in the Brown-Lupton University Union, the Intercultural Center provides students a place to come together to celebrate and learn more about various cultures. This is also a great place to study or meet up with friends!

Another resource that is popular among international students is the International Student Association (ISA), which hosts weekly meetings and off-campus events throughout the semester. In addition to the ISA, there are several smaller organizations that celebrate students and their cultures including Students for Asian-Indian Cultural Awareness and the African Heritage Association, among many others.

It can be daunting to move across the world to further your educational pursuits, but at TCU it doesn't have to be! From the first time you step foot on campus, our community is ready to welcome you with open arms!
