We want to take a moment to congratulate our admitted students! Future Frogs who have been admitted to TCU may be invited to interview for one of our scholarship programs. Here’s a breakdown of each and what to expect:
Chancellor's Scholarship
The Chancellor's Scholarship is the most prestigious scholarship available to the top 1% of applicants who are selected to become finalists. This scholarship covers full-tuition for 40 first-year students and six semesters for five selected transfer students. Application to the John V. Roach Honors College is required for program consideration.
“I enjoy the connections with other Chancellor’s Scholars. Naturally, many of them are incredibly motivated academically and professionally which amounts to a strong network of peers to lean on throughout the semester. I also enjoy the friendship I’ve been able to build with Chancellor Boschini, the most genuine and supportive person I’ve met at TCU so far.”- Dylan L. ’28
Students selected to interview for the Chancellor’s Scholarship will receive an invitation for the Chancellor’s Scholars Experience. This three-day event includes a preview of the John V. Roach Honors College, attendance at Experience TCU, our admitted student day, and a banquet before completing the on-campus interview.
STEM Scholar Program
The STEM Scholar Program is for the brightest students pursuing a degree in a STEM field. Scholars will learn throughout this program how to use their education in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) to serve historically underserved communities. This scholarship covers the full cost of tuition for four years, providing rich educational, networking and professional development opportunities within the field.
“Receiving the STEM scholarship made it possible for me to attend TCU. Now I can focus on my major, electrical engineering, without having to worry about the cost.”- Jordan R. ’27
Applicants who are selected as finalists for the STEM Scholar Program are invited to an on-campus interview with faculty and staff. For more information about the program and important dates, click here.
Community Scholar
Community Scholar candidates are top recruits from 13 underserved local high schools. About 50 recipients will be awarded this scholarship who aim to acquire leadership skills and learn how to Lead On ®, becoming the next generation of local and global leaders!
“I enjoy how I can interact and meet a group of people at TCU who have a similar life story to me, being a First-Gen Hispanic. It made me feel more welcomed at TCU and comfortable.”- Abigail M. ’26, Community Scholar
Scholar finalists are invited to the interview weekend, including a dinner, an opportunity to attend Experience TCU and a required interview with faculty and staff.
To our nominees: when you interview, remember to take a deep breath and just be yourself! Check your email and your myTCU portal for important dates and details.
