Tradition, Spirit and “Decades of Winning”
Each fall, Horned Frogs past and present come together to celebrate one of TCU’s most beloved traditions: Homecoming. The week is filled with spirit, connection and the joy of belonging to something bigger than yourself.
Across campus, students gear up for a week of special events, competitions and moments that bring generations of Frogs together. From painting banners and decorating floats to trivia nights and even a blood drive, every detail is a reminder of how deeply TCU traditions are woven into campus life.

This year, Homecoming Week brings even more excitement with the long-awaited return of the Homecoming Parade. Stadium Drive will come alive as student organizations, alumni groups and the marching band fill the street with music, color and creativity. Each float is a reflection of TCU’s unity and energy, showcasing the pride that connects students and alumni alike.
Kelly Lee, director of student activities, shared her excitement for this year’s celebration.
“Student Activities has been working hard to create a fun and spirited Homecoming Week for our students,” she says. “With input from SGA (Student Government Association) and students across campus, this year’s theme is all about honoring tradition, celebrating excellence and fueling our fiercest rivalry.”
“Our theme, ‘Decades of Winning,’ pays tribute to the proud legacy of Horned Frog victories, resilience and school spirit that has defined generations of TCU students, alumni and fans. We’ve found that having a theme gets students and organizations excited about designing banners, attending events and, this year, even creating floats for the Homecoming Parade.”
Another highlight of the week is the Outstanding Senior Presentation, an annual tradition that honors students who have made a lasting impact through leadership and service. These seniors embody the values that make TCU special, inspiring others to leave their own mark on campus.

The presentation serves as a powerful reminder that TCU pride extends far beyond game days. It lives in the students who serve, lead and shape campus life every day. Their achievements reflect the heart of the Horned Frog community and the legacy of excellence that continues to grow with each graduating class.
Homecoming Week will wrap up with one of the most anticipated moments of the fall semester: the TCU vs. Baylor football game.
“Our goal is for students to take pride in Homecoming Week and look forward to it each year,” Lee says. “Plus, we’re facing Baylor this year, a team we have a winning record against, which ties perfectly into our ‘Decades of Winning’ celebration — both on the field and across TCU as a whole.”

From the return of the parade to the recognition of outstanding seniors, this year’s Homecoming is more than just a celebration. It’s a reflection of TCU’s history, community and enduring spirit. For prospective students, it’s a glimpse of what makes being a Horned Frog so meaningful — the connection, the energy and the sense of belonging that truly make TCU feel like home.
