Summer is here and it's time to start prepping for living on campus here at TCU. Make sure your first step is submitting your housing application, open through June 1 at my.tcu.edu. You'll soon be moving into your dorm room at TCU, and I remember feeling lost on what to buy for my room.

Nursing major Hannah Scanlon shares her incredible experiences and learning opportunities. In the classroom, TCU nursing has the best professors. Many professors are still working nurses, which means they are up to date on all the changing aspects of the nursing profession. They also care so deeply about their students on campus.

Olivia Lee writes about her experience in the Bob Schieffer College of Communication and the Film Television Digital Media program, which has shaped her into a graduate prepared to launch her dream career in sports journalism.

We all have a teacher who changed our life. Maybe we didn't realize it at the moment, but in retrospect, we owe our successes, our opportunities, and our growth to the teachers and professors who shaped us in school.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month and as a college student, I know how challenging it is to earn your best grades while managing friendships, extracurriculars and your physical, emotional and mental health. When the weight of college life becomes overwhelming – and it inevitably will – TCU supports students with amazing programs and resources to mitigate the stress.

There is no better feeling than walking into your new room on campus, as it marks a time of significant growth and puts you at the starting line of one of the greatest experiences that you’ll face in your young-adult life. Getting to make your space your own, however, is one of the most fun parts of this new change. To help you see this, meet Delayna!
