You've submitted your app, sat back, taken a breath and may now be thinking, how and
when will I receive my decision? While our admission counselors are hard at work reviewing
applications, we're providing some helpful tips on how you'll receive your admission
decision - and we promise, you'll be the first to know about your app.
We release decisions in your myTCU portal. So now is a great time to make sure you can log into your portal! When it's time for
decision releases, we will send an email letting you know a decision is ready in your
portal. It will be very clear once you log in what that admission decision is. If
you haven't logged in yet, you can search your inbox for an email called Track your

We guarantee decisions for Early Decision/Early Action applicants by January 1. Early decision applicants will receive decisions first and we'll give those applicants
an accepted or denied decision. We believe it's only fair to give you a firm decision
either way since you're applying for a binding decision. For early action applicants, you'll
receive an admitted, deferred or denied decision.
We guarantee decisions for Early Decision II/Regular Deadline applicants by April
1. Early Decision II applicants will receive their decisions by March 15 and regular
decision applicants will receive decisions by April 1 at the latest. This still gives
you time to make your decision by the National Candidate Reply Date on May 1.
Your portal is an important source of information throughout the process. While applying, you can view the application checklist in your portal to learn if you're missing anything from your application. There you can also update your test optional response, update application deadline
and request a change of application major. If you are admitted, you'll receive information
in your portal about any scholarship decisions, admitted student events and other
next steps in your TCU journey!
