Student Studying

TCU proudly welcomes 400 new transfer students each year, rolling out the red carpet in support of their exciting transition. With a wide variety of support available for transfer students, there's no better place to call home.

The Transfer Connection Space
TCU students are welcome everywhere, but there's a special spot just for transfer students in the heart of the campus. The Transfer Connection Space is a landing zone for students to study, grab some snacks or meet with one another between classes.

The Transfer Student Experience
This organization supports the success of transfer students in all facets of college. From providing mentoring and networking opportunities to hosting fun events, The Transfer Student Experience provides a way for students to feel part of the larger TCU community and develop leadership skills.

Orientation and Frog Camp
Right from the start, transfer students jump into TCU's culture of connection and success with orientation and Frog Camp. Both programs link up transfer students with one another as they get familiar with TCU traditions and resources. At orientation, an academic advisor will help you register for classes and you can get connected with student organizations and fellow frogs. You're welcome to bring up to two guests and we have sessions just for family members.

At Frog Camp, you'll make unforgettable memories and new friends through late night dance parties and fun activities. Plus, you'll learn TCU spirit traditions and what you can expect as a Horned Frog. Our Texas camps are free and we also host camps in Colorado, New Orleans and a mystery destination every year. Our mystery campers just returned from Nashville, Tenn.

TCU students are the happiest in the nation (for real!) for a reason. They're supported, academically and personally, with intentional guidance toward graduation. If TCU sounds like a place you'd like to be, learn more about transferring!
