TCU Kickoff 2019 drew large crowds of students to the Intellectual Commons area

Today marked the first day of class for our Fall 2019 cohort of Horned Frogs and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome all of our students, new and old, to campus!

For us in admissions, the first day of class is always a great reminder of the end result of months of traveling, reading applications, and hosting prospective students. Our job is to bring in a new class of students every single year and seeing those students actually immersing themselves in our community is always a powerful moment that reminds us of why we do what we do.

However, the beginning of a new academic school year also marks a transition for us. After a summer of strategizing and gearing up for next year, this marks the start of our new travel season as it’s back to work bringing in the next group of students. In fact, I’ll be hitting the road to visit some high schools tomorrow morning!

To all of our new students, we are so thankful that you chose TCU and that you’re here. May the rest of your TCU experience be everything that you want and please know that this school truly cares about you as a person and wants to see you succeed. And for all of our prospective students out there, reach out to us! We can’t wait to meet you and to help support you through this application and admission process. Go Frogs!
